California Vacation Day 4: Children's Discovery Center and San Francisco

On Wednesday we hit the road to San Francisco,
and stopped at a Children's Discovery Center on the way!
James loved all the big trucks he got to "drive"
Jenna's favorite was the bubble room
There was a cute baby area for James to play while Jenna did crafts

And a whole dinosaur section that they both enjoyed

Once Jenna had her fill of fun and James started acting like he could nap we headed out for the 2nd part of our day!
1st things 1st though we needed lunch!
And Mike wanted the kids to experience his favorite burger joint :)

James approved of his 1st milk shake!
Seeing James still hadn't fallen asleep we started with The Golden Gate Park and Carousel

Then we headed for the beach... I was sure more than walking the hills of San Fran would surely stimulate some kind of contractions!
It was windy, but the sand was still warm!

We walked to see the Bridge and Alcatraz
Then we headed for snack time in Ghirardelli square

After souviner shopping and sight seeing we headed for an up close drive over the Golden Gate Bridge per Jenna's request!

Such a perfect day of checking off another thing on our bucket list!

California Vacation Day 3: Monterey Bay

On Tuesday we ventured to Monterey Bay!

1st we checked out the pier
The went through the huge Aquarium

Once James fell asleep we walked to lunch at Bubba Gumps :)
Then we took a walk to the Beach to play in the sand

Then it was time to find some snacks ;)

And do some souvenir shopping!
To make sure the kids were worn out before making the "long" drive back to the guest house we stopped at a local park called Dennis the Menace Park (which we loved, because we compare James to him all the time) to burn some energy.

Such a busy fun day for the kids,
and lots of walking for the preggo mommy!

California Vacation Day 1: Gilroy Gardens

The day after Mike and the kids joined me in California my intended family took us to an amusement park in a near by town called Gilroy Gardens!
It was so stinking cute! Most of the rides were fruits and veggies grown in the area :)

James slept the 1st 1/2 of our trip there so Jenna and Mike went on all the rides with my IP's and there older kids while I walked the beautiful gardens!

And of course we had to try all the snacks :)
Once James woke up he went on all the little kid rides
And my IF took Jenna to play the carnival games... she did really well!

For the last activity before the park closed they all went boating, and James and I had some more of the cuddles that I had been missing all week!
