Happy 4th of July!

We started Celebrating a week early with our church family last Sunday! It is a great tradition our church has to yearly recognize the men and woman in our congregation that have served or are currently serving our country!
Mike was asked to participate in the service this year with one of his great childhood friends Ian.
It really was an honor to see them both in uniform, representing our armed forces, at the church we all met :)
James didn't make it to far into the service.
He likes the music, and then naps ;)
All 3 of my heroes were the for the 1st Sunday ever!!
Thank you to my dad Paul for his service in The US Navy
Thank you to my big brother Robert for his service in the US Army and Marine Corp
Thank you to my husband for his service in the US Air Force
And thank you to all of the members of my Bethel Church Family for your service!
I really appreciated our pastor's sermon about trusting God in Spiritual Warfare
and serving as a Christian Solider!
Here is a recap :)
On a less church related note... I love my baby daddy!
On the 4th we went to a parade
Then we  went home, and all took a nap (best idea ever!!)
Then we made snacks for a 4th of July BBQ
We didn't have Kade on the 4th, so we had a family BBQ on the 5th with him :)

I promise the lighter is turned off before our little Pyro got to have it.
James held tight to grandma... he wasn't so sure about fireworks lol
I love that Mike's Mom and Dad are living so close now!
They are so great to our kids!
It was a wonderful 4th of July week!

Thing 3 is Ten Months Old

As you can see he is not much for sitting down these days!
He loves to brush his hair (well hair/head/face whatever)
And playing with cars
He goes broom broom whenever he sees them!
Height/Weight: At his 9 month check up on 6/9/15 he was weighing in at 21.5 (74.4 percentile) and was 28.5 inches long (42.6 percentile)

Routine: We are loving summer here in this Reece House! I have never had a time in my life that it was so easy to keep up with things. I have gone weeks caught up on house work and laundry! Needless to say this stay at home mom gig is kinda nice!
We try to get out in the sun at least once a day, so we have been trying all the parks in Nampa, having play dates, walking downtown to the library, and getting to know our new neighbors.
James is still on the same sleep/food/bath schedules, but luckily is a flexible little man to make time for having a busy big sister!
oh the difference 10 months can make!
Sleeping: James is a great sleeper, and I am so glad he likes his crib so much! We have also learned this summer that he loves to sleep in his stroller, so we will take walks at nap time.

Eating/Feeding: Pretty much the same on the food front. Eating solids 3 times a day and snacks though out (mostly when I need to entertain him lol)
He did however experience his 1st gluten at the water park last week, and I don't think he will ever give it up now! He was so impressed with that bread stick he would scream if we tried to take it away!
Sizes: He is rocking 12 month clothing and size 4 shoes

Milestones:
This has been by far the biggest growth month for Mr. James!
He has learned to Walk and is quickly figuring out running!
He learned to not only go up our big flight of stairs, but can go down just a fast!
He can play the drum, brush his hair and teeth like a big boy, and can make car noises!
He loves dogs and barks (woo woo) at them when he sees them!
He raises his arms anytime you ask how big he is or say touchdown lol
He gives the best kisses ;)
He loves playing at the waterpark, and water pretty much anywhere!
I really can't express how in love with being his mom I am,
or how much I am loving spending my days with my kids in the sun!

A wonderful end to May!

This last week was a special one for the Reece Family!

Jenna had her last day of 2nd grade
We ended May with a splash!
Using our new Roaring Springs Season Passes ;)
Michael and I celebrated 5 years of Marriage, and some exciting news for our future!

Then Sunday we had James dedicated to the Lord at Church
It is my deepest desire that all of my children grow up to be not just good Christian people, but ones who have a deep loving relationship with our lord Jesus Christ!
After his dedication we had a family BBQ. It brings me so much joy to see how loved my sweet boy is!

But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these".
Luke 18:16

Last day of 2nd for Thing 2

A lot has changed for our sweet girl! In 1 school year she got a baby brother, moved to Nampa, got a new house, started a new school, and got all new friends! As much as I feared it was too much for her introverted spirit God showed me there was more to this princess than even I new! She has thrived through it all, and has grown so much! I can not wait to see all God will use her to do, because I know she will change the world!

Happy Birthday Thing 1 and Happy Memorial Day Everyone!!

Happy Birthday to our growing way too fast boy Kade!!
I love Birthdays! More specifically I love my kids birthdays! Celebrating my loves brings me so much joy I don't know how to explain it!
Kade is such a great kid and I truly feel blessed to be his other mom!
I can't imagine my life without him in it, and I look forward to seeing the man he becomes!

For his birthday he asked for a birthday party at Roaring Springs!
To surprise him he got RS passes instead... and we celebrated there!
We also got him a new Full size bed with a lockers to go with his football field room

The weekend we had him for his birthday was too cold for swimming, so we went made other plans!

Kade and dad went to explore some caves, and have boy time in the morning!
He pretended to be a bat of course lol

Then we went to Jump Time with friends in the afternoon
And to Big Al's with Grandpa Scott for dinner!
The next weekend we had a family BBQ after church, and Kade got spoiled with lots of stuff including a new trampoline!

Then on Memorial Day we went to the water park finally for our 1st of many trips this summer!
It was James's 1st trip! He loved it!

He liked just riding in his stroller to watch big brother and sister go down all the slides!
And took a super long nap!

Jenna went on double trouble the slide that she has been afraid of for the 1st time!

And Kade got to pick what we did at the park all day!

We ended the day with Kade's Favorite snack (Birthday Cake Dip n Dots)
